Aerial photo of the Island taken around 1950	Spin, Marty and Annette Bill Patterson's aunt worked for Walt Disney, so he had the opportunity to visit Disneyland when it opened in 1955 and to tour Disney Studios. Imagine his excitement to meet Walt himself, Jimmy Dodd (head Mousketeer), Fess Parker (Davy Crockett) and Annette Funicello. Here’s a momento from that meeting all those years ago. Ah, fond memories of a different era.
