Ron retired from General Construction Company  (Marine  District of Peter Kiewit & Sons) as Area Manager of Marine Construction in 2009.  Worked 45 years in Marine Construction and was the manager of many of the marine structures we use every day.  Some of his last projects were the Tacoma Narrows bridge, Hood Canal floating bridge and the San Francisco Bay bridge.  He also worked on many underwater projects on the west coast from San Diego to Anchorage Alaska.    Carol and Ron have been married 47 years and have two kids, Tammy and Dan.  Tammy and her husband own Selkirt Electric in North Bend and have three girls.  Dan is a Colonel in the army and is married with one girl expecting another child in June 2012.  Ron and Carol live in Redmond and travel to Palm Spring for three months every winter.

Paragraph of fond memories or a note for your classmates...  
Went to school with many of the classmates from first grade through High school.  Have many fond memories of the East Seattle grade school class mates that I grew up with.  Mercer Island was a great place to be raised.
