Peter Prehn
Email Peter.Home: Leavenworth, WA
Occupation: TeacherPeter graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in history. He spent many a year "floundering about looking for direction". Peter was married for 7 years to a woman now his friend. He was employed for 12 years in the supermarket industry, and gave that up when his mother died. He spent several years vagabonding around the globe, and touched foot in 42 different countries. Among his favorites are Greece, Thailand, Bali, New Zealand, and of course his home country, The Netherlands. In 1978, Peter left the Seattle Area to move to the Wenatchee Valley where he has lived ever since. He tried his hand at being a "back to the lander urban hippie" and bought an organic orchard with a pond and funky farmhouse. However, this didn't work out. In 1986 Peter lived in Thailand for a year and taught at AUA and Suan Dusit Teacher's College. With these credentials, he came back, and taught at WVC in Wenatchee and moved through the ranks to being a Basic Skills instructor in the evening four nights a week.
Peter is single, and plans to stay that way. He loves to hike in our beautiful Cascades, ride his mountain bike along the roads of the Wenatchee Valley, and work towards the preservation of our beautiful country.Websites include:
