Linda moved to the beautiful BIG state of Alaska in 1965 when she married Dale. Daughter Marie has a graphic design business and is living in Anchorage with Linda's grand daughter Gray Lee. Daughter Katie, teaches school in Alaska when she is not traveling. Katie, husband Paul and sons Finley and Owen live in Wasilla.

Linda worked as a mathematician at Boeing for a short time.  After moving to Alaska, she taught math, worked as an Administrative Secretary, operated her own business as an educational consultant, and then worked in her husband's State Farm Insurance business. Now semi-retired, (she owns a web design business) is enjoying the quiet living on their lake. Dale and Linda own two airplanes, a Piper super cub and a Helio Courier. They use them for traveling to and from remote cabins as well as for fishing and hunting.

Linda keeps busy in her community as a Rotarian and serving on numerous non-profit boards. She was Chairman of the Board for the Mat-Su Health Foundation for 5 of the 9 years she served on the board, and on the Mat-Su Regional Medical Center (local hospital) Board of Directors. Linda runs the Dolly Parton Imagination Library for the Mat-Su Borough, and serves on the Early Childhood Partnership board. She is on Mat-Su Schools Foundation board, serving 8 years as president. Linda is a member and webmaster for the Anchorage Weavers and Spinners Guild. And she volunteers three days a week at her neighborhood schools.

Quilting, weaving and her computers are daily diversions. She loves the Alaskan great outdoors ...
