"After I graduated from Mercer Island High I attended one year at Oregon State University and another at Mt. San Antonio College in California before leaving school and marrying the former Karen Lunden of Mercer Island. Prior to our divorce in 1975, we had two great sons, both of whom graduated from Mercer Island High School. I worked for the Bell System, primarily in sales, marketing and regulatory affairs, until I retired from AT&T in 1990 after 25 years. In that same year, I returned to the University of Washington and completed a bachelor's degree in information systems from the School of Business. For the last nine years I have worked in sales and service for Ravenna Volvo in Seattle. I will be leaving Ravenna in July of this year to have some fun and try to figure out what happened to the last 40 years. My wife, Sue, and I have been married for 25 years and live in Seattle. My oldest son, Eric, and his wife have two children and live in Issaquah. My younger son, Marc, is married and lives in Kirkland. I spend my spare time with music --- I returned to playing saxophone and clarinet about five years ago. I play in the Emerald City Jazz Ensemble and sit in with local jazz groups for fun at Seattle restaurants and coffee houses."
