I retired in 2014 after 19 years at Boeing Flight Test as a Manufacturing and Test Integration Engineer, and also flew professionally for 14 years as noted above.
During retirement I have self-published the personal and family memoirs linked above, and I found this endeavor very enjoyable.
I have also done extensive traveling, including Cabo San Lucas, St Petersburg and Moscow, Russia, two weeks in Italy, and a Paris to Prague Viking River Cruise.
The most travel fun has been two four-month world cruises with a Road Scholar (former Elderhostel) subgroup on the Holland America MS Amsterdam. The first cruise was in the northern hemisphere, focusing on Asia and the Mediterranean. The second focused on the southern hemisphere including Tahiti and many other islands, Australia and New Zealand, South Africa and several stops up the west coast of Africa. I found these trips to be amazing and we didn't want to get off the ship as the trips ended!
Suzanne doesn't like to travel, so in late 2016 I left the relationship, but we have remained good friends. I assist her and we do frequent walks together. I'm looking for a travel partner to tour all of North America in my VW Camper and use up some time share points.
