I married shortly after graduation and also began a lifelong career in telecommunications. I worked and lived all over the state of Washington (Seattle, Bellevue, Issaquah, Moses Lake, Spokane, Yakima, and Tacoma) for the next 27 years. I divorced in 1974 and married again 1975 to my life mate of 37 years, Lisa. About 1990 we moved to Lithuania and spent the next 4 years building and operating an international gateway in a joint venture with Lithuania right after it declared independence from the USSR. In 1994 we left Lithuania for another joint venture in Malaysia. We lived in Kuala Lumpur for approximately 4 years building a competing telecommunications company in that country. I retired from that venture after 35 years with what was then US West Communications. On returning to the Seattle area I did consulting for approximately 8 years, finally ending my working years in a startup company located in St. Petersburg, Florida. We now enjoy retirement in the sunshine state fishing, beaching, metal detecting, and spending time with the grandchildren.

I remember my years at Mercer Island schools very fondly. When I look through the only HS year book I have (1960 Isla) there is not one person I don’t recall with fondness. The dances, parties, conversations in the hallways, the White House, Model T’s and classes are all just great memories for me. Thank you all for being such great friends.
