"Hi from Jackie Leffman Wells, married to Bob Wells . I finally got married in my late thirties, after a lot of fun...traveling, skiiing, etc.! Bob is a commercial architect in Seattle, and I am teaching a morning kindergarten class in the Edmonds School District. We have a twenty year old son, Scott, who has Fragile X Syndrome. He has opened our eyes and hearts to places we have never known , and have made our lives better for it!! Bob and I ski a lot, go on sailing trips, and are very involved in Special Olympics. I am SO disappointed to not be able to go to the reunion, as we will be attending an international conference on Fragile X Syndrome (I am a Washington State Board member) in Chicago! I have very fond memories of our class, our teachers, and how this Island used to be. We have lived on the island for about fifteen years, and occasionally run into old classmates!" - Jackie
